The 2016 World Series is tied thanks to Jake Arrieta and the middle of the Cubs lineup. Cleveland’s starting pitching, outside of Game 1 starter Corey Kluber, has not been particularly strong this postseason, and it bit them last night. World Series Game 1 Recap
The Indians blanked the Cubs last night in the World Series opener. Corey Kluber, Cleveland’s unquestioned ace, was on top of his game. Many feel the Cubs still have the advantage due to their starting pitching depth, but that didn’t do the Mets much good last year.
