Carol Hutchins: Title IX Fighter

On the 45th anniversary of Title IX, it is important to remember the women’s sports trailblazers. Michigan’s Carol Hutchins was a great athlete and has become college softball’s all-time winningest coach. Tommy Ramos is the softball coach at Midland, a junior college in Texas. Fed up with his team’s poor facilities and the administration’s unwillingness to make improvements, he filed a Title IX lawsuit against the school.
