Michigan basketball: undefeated as new year begins

Hello, readers. I’m busy covering a Michigan basketball team that is undefeated and ranked No. 2 in the country, and thought you might be interested in some of my recent stories.

Here’s one on head coach John Beilein, who, unlike most of his peers, has never released an instructional video. I looked into why that’s the case.

I also wrote about freshman phenom Ignas “Iggy” Brazdeikis this week. Michigan’s leading scorer was born in Lithuania and grew up in Canada, where he trained in mixed martial arts with his father. That piece also includes a link to a previous story with additional information on the star freshman.

If you want to keep up to date with all my stories, you can bookmark this page. Other options include installing the “MLive Michigan basketball” app on your phone or tablet. Thanks for reading!

If you know of Michigan basketball player Jordan Poole, it’s probably because he hit a game-winning shot in the NCAA Tournament. Poole begins his sophomore season ready for an encore.
