We’re back! Steve and I recorded a surprise podcast in which we briefly talk about Bob Stoops’ retirement before revealing our separate lists of top 20 college football players since 2000. We do not share many players, and Steve is bothered by this fact.
I appeared on WTKA (1050 am), Ann Arbor’s sports talk radio station, to talk about Michigan basketball this morning. The Wolverines are 1-2 in the Big Ten. How much can they improve going forward? I discussed it with host of the “Inside the Huddle” show, Michael Spath. Listen to a recording of the conversation here:
The college football playoff field is set. Do we agree with the selections? Of course we do. It wasn’t that hard. We look at other bowl match-ups and tackle some interesting questions from listeners. Subscribe and rate, for once!
Ohio State beat Michigan in an instant classic. Too bad the refs were not qualified to work such an important game. With the release of the penultimate playoff rankings, how will the championship games affect things? At the 31-minute mark, we discuss what will happen if Clemson and/or Washington lose. Also, Steve ate a lot last weekend.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! On this episode, Steve rants about the sanctions against Notre Dame and we talk about some of the huge games this weekend. Plus, we take calls from real live listeners!
Actual good games to discuss this week, so we do that, sort of. There’s not much individual game analysis, but there’s plenty of playoff scenario discussion. Who controls their own destiny? Is there a path for Western Michigan? Plus, an official end to #NittanyWatch.
Among the answering of random questions from listeners, “political” “discussion,” and other nonsense, there is some college football talk. And if you want the nitty gritty, skip to the 55:30 mark for my chat with ratings guru Brian Fremeau of Football Outsiders. Steve would be sad if you did that, though.
